Every year, we take time to reflect on our journey—where we are now, where we are heading, and how far we’ve come in pursuit of our vision for Te Pā o Rākaihautū. Are we getting closer to the future we dreamed of for our tamariki and mokopuna?

Te Pae Tawhiti - Our Vision and Purpose
We begin by revisiting our moemoeā—the big picture of what we are working towards—and our kaupapa (purpose). Why did we establish Te Pā? What we are here to achieve for our whānau.
Ngā Whāinga i te Tau 2025 - Our Priorities for the Year Ahead
The second section outlines where we are today ( Te Pae Tata) and introduces the vital few priorities we’ve set for the coming year. These are the areas we believe will have the greatest impact, and which require our collective energy and focus.
Te Whakapapa o Te Pā o Rākaihautū - Our Origins
The final section provides context—our origin story. Te Pā o Rākaihautū is the result of over 30 years of whānau vision, resilience, and determination. Understanding where we’ve come from helps guide our path forward and reminds us of the values and aspirations that continue to shape our journey.
He Manawa Tītī - Like the Tītī who return year after year to the Titi Islands, our journey has required endurance, patience, and strength. This whakataukī reflects the spirit we carry as we continue building a legacy for the generations to come.
